The concept of QC

QC is short for "Quality Control".The main work for QC is to monitoring the whole procedures when fabrics are  under production, to justify the production technics and other details and to be sure that method is within requirements by customers

 

Basic responsibilities of QC:

1.Checking the quality of the control at all stages of production.

 

2.Discover the problems that affect product quality in production and take corrective and preventive actions

 

3.Testing the quality of products, help making the Internal test reports,Give factory,company and customers updated production process.

 

 

If there is problems during the whole process like weaving,dyeing,and after-finishing,the QC will try their best to assure fabric quality and communicate with company to make a better  solution.

What is the Difference Between Flame Retardant and Flame Proof Fabrics?

Flame retardant does NOT mean that a fabric will not burn.Just about any flame retardant fabric will burn to some extent,depending on the degree of heat.What distinguishes an FR fabric from an non-FR fabric is the degree to which each will burn.

Flame Retardant fabric will experience much less burning - when fire is introduced to the fabric,the flame retardant properties of the fabric will cause the flame spread to be slowed considerably (sometimes to almost nothing) and the flame will self-extinguish once the initial flame source is removed.With an non-FR fabric,there is nothing to retard the flame,and therefore the flame will spread rapidly through the fabric and will continue to spread,even after the initial flame source is removed.

Flame proof fabric is considered non-combustible and will not burn due to its extremely high heat resistance. One example is Glass Cloth.

NFPA 2112 certified flame retardant fabric

With the rapid development of industry, people are facing an increasing number of threats in work and daily life such as high temperature, combustion. In order to protect against this threat, reduce unnecessary losses, a variety of protective equipment are required, flame-retardant protective clothing is an important one of PPE. It can effectively protect workers in the work from injury caused by physical factors in the environment.

Correct selection and use of flame-retardant protective clothing can effectively reduce severe clothing ignition and save lives, compared to costs of rehabilitation treatment for Burns in the hospital, protective clothing is very low and is the most effective. If workers wear the normal clothes without flame-retardant feature, the skin covered by clothes will be more serious burned than that is exposed to air when there is a fire.
